The picture shows a deep winter forest in which tall, dark fir trees tower majestically into the sky. Between the trees, the light of the setting sun breaks through the dense branches and casts long, soft shadows on the snow-covered ground. The snow glows in cool pastel colours that fade slightly into blue and violet, creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. The sun's rays create a delicate colour gradient that makes the snow glisten and at the same time bathes the tree trunks and slender branches in a soft, golden light. The shadows of the trees stretch calmly across the ground, lending depth and stillness to the scene.
