The painting presents the same motif as the painting "Bisigheim at Sunset", but has been very gently transformed in the direction of art from the first half of the twentieth century. The idea came about when I looked at the first phase of the first picture and immediately knew that I would paint the motif again, exactly like this. I didn't want to imitate a certain direction like cubism, the transformation is not abstract enough for that. I wanted to get a certain geometric composition that reminded me of the original motif.
